The Director, Tax Compliance will lead a team responsible for effectively and efficiently delivering the highest quality Compliance updates for our US Tax Products - UltraTax and Onvio Tax US. This role will enable an agile process and mindset across the organization; championing self-organization, collaboration and continuous improvement within the business. About the Role In this opportunity, you will: Lead the team responsible for developing Compliance related updates and enhancements that exceed our customers' expectations Lead the prioritization of work across all tax products (e.g. 1040, 1120, etc.) to ensure on time and high-quality delivery for compliance updates and enhancements Optimize regulatory compliance processes and methodologies to best support the organization's strategic priorities Oversee work and resource allocation to optimize team effectiveness, balance and account for fluctuating workloads, and ensure efforts are aligned to key priorities Create and monitor metrics to track progress, and provide visibility into team performance and effectiveness Identify and adapt tools that support the organization's process needs Look for synergies across functions/business segments and recommend process, product and service improvements Consider clients and their business needs, industry trends, and how those changes may impact delivery and development of products and services Facilitate the sharing of best practices and cultivate a learning environment Put mechanisms in place to ensure seamless communication and collaboration within the team as well as with key stakeholders including Product Management, Technology Development and Customer Success Monitor customer satisfaction and integrate customer insight into content development / regulatory compliance practices Anticipate internal and external business challenges and recommend solutions to mitigate risks Consciously create a positive workplace culture by supporting, motivating, and empowering managers and employees to deliver exceptional performance Continually evaluate individual and team skills against current and future business needs and identify solutions to address any gaps About You You're a fit for the role of Director, Tax Compliance if you have: 10 years related business experience in tax compliance; expertise in tax research, tax regulations, and compliance guidelines is required Demonstrated success in leading regulatory compliance-oriented processes and teams Knowledge of software development processes/workflows Working knowledge of software delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment People management experience; skilled at coaching and developing individuals and teams Change advocate; proactive in identifying and resolving issues and adapting and streamlining practices to more effectively meet current and future business needs Demonstrated ability to influence, gain credibility and motivate teams toward a common goal Results oriented; strong time management and organizational skills with a drive to succeed Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Accounting, Tax, Technology) or equivalent experience LI-LG1 Do you want to be part of a team helping re-invent the way knowledge professionals work?
