Learn more about the many benefits of PET bottles here.-- - *with existing technologies including chemical recycling Position Overview: The Senior Demand Planner is charged with leading the demand planning processes, making decisions that impact the demand plan and communicating those decisions to stakeholders. This position is entrusted to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external supply chain planning and commercial partners. They are empowered to make decisions and share responsibilities with other relevant parties to edit and approve the consensus demand plan.-- - The Senior Demand Planner also participates in sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes, as well as contributing to special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives. This person is a well-rounded individual who encompasses analytical, communication and leadership skills and drives continuous improvement.-- --- - They can quickly identify deviations from expected results and other disruptions and can promptly resolve any issues. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:-- - Interact with commercial, supply planning, marketing, and operations to understand and interpret the potential impact demand drivers can have on demand and work with Commercial to adjust the statistical forecast to reflect those impacts. Work with business segment leadership to generate a consensus demand plan. Work with various cross-functional teams on projects such as new product launches and product discontinuations. Demonstrate sound business decision-making aligned with company goals. Develop, monitor, and communicate reports on demand forecast trends and accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement. Influence and collaborate with key partners in sales, supply planning, marketing, and finance to address input gaps as identified by demand forecast error review and other means. Use and maintain current demand planning systems (APO, etc) to create the best statistical forecast possible, reviewing best fit analysis and adjusting to the optimal statistical model.-- - Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand planning exception reports to identify and fix potential issues. Manipulate forecast through hierarchical aggregation and disaggregation to fulfill customer and internal requirements. Assist in development of annual budget demand plan and reconcile with monthly demand plans. Communicate any gaps between the plans. Manage the monthly Planning Calendar and lead the monthly consolidation of S&OP presentation materials Qualifications: Education:-- - Bachelor's Degree-- --- --- --- --- --- --- - In Supply Chain, Business, or related field 3-5 years of related experience in supply chain function Proficient use Supply Chain planning systems that enable demand planning and reporting Proven understanding of basic statistical modeling methods and strategies Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and demand planning Knowledge of forecasting processes in sales, marketing, finance and manufacturing Ability to work within high-performing teams and is highly collaborative. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including great presentations.
