Job Description:
Position PurposeThe Financial Systems Administrator (FSA) oversees
leading, managing, and customizing internal financial business
systems. Their duties will include responding to user support
requests, administration of financial systems, customization,
compiling reports, creating dashboards, and tracking utilization.
This role liaises with other departments to ensure the financial
business systems meet the company's needs. The FSA will source,
evaluate, and recommend the release of varying financial
applications and/or modules to meet the company's objectives. The
FSA will be under the direction of the Director of Enterprise
Business Systems Administration and the Chief Administrative

-Duties and responsibilities - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- Administers and monitors the organization's financial systems
to ensure that the organization's finances are maintained in an
accurate and timely manner
- Implements and maintains processes that facilitate the
integrity of financial data and related financial processes,
including monitoring cross-system integrations.
- Supports end-user requests for new access, saved searches,
reports, KPIs, and dashboards
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing
internal controls
- Implements continuous improvement initiatives relevant to the
span of oversight, including internal controls and process
enhancements/redesign, risk assessment, and mitigation
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; participating in professional
societies
- Provides timely and outstanding customer service to internal
and external customers
- Ensures that information MiHIN produces, maintains, stores, or
transmits remains secure through adherence to MiHIN's Security
Policies and Procedures
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or computer science
and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting practices in the public
sector, including grant and fund accounting; internal auditing of
transactions; and accounting software
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance systems/ERPs
- Experience implementing and maintaining mid-size and
large-scale financial systems (ERP, etc.) and integrations with
other systems
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal English) and
organizational skills with great attention to detail and task
completion orientation
- Discrete professional demeanor and ability to maintain
appropriate confidentiality
- Ability to work independently or under supervision
- Ability to multitask when several work products are
required
- Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Prior experience with both large corporations and small startup
organizations
- Knowledge of NetSuite ERP architecture and SuiteScript
