The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success as a Controller for a bank or mortgage company. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.Key Responsibilities:Manage the accounting and financial operations of the bank, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including those of the FDIC, OCC, and other regulatory bodies.Provide leadership to the accounting team, including hiring, training, and managing staff.Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.Oversee the annual financial audit and tax return preparation process.Perform other duties as assigned.Interested in hearing more?
