Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work. \n Job Overview \n As a Fine Jewelry Sales colleague, you provide outstanding customer service in our Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex and create shopping experiences that make every customer feel welcomed and comfortable in the Jewelry and Watch Complex. This includes meeting sales goals, promoting our loyalty and warranty programs, and building relationships with customers through our clientele program. In this role, you will continually demonstrate superior product knowledge to educate and assist your customer in selecting and purchasing items that meet their tastes, preferences and budget. \n Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Plus, build community by joining one of our Colleague Resource Groups and make a difference through our volunteer opportunities. \n Some additional benefits we offer include: \n \n Merchandise discounts \n Performance-based incentives \n Annual merit review \n Employee Assistance Program with mental health counseling and legal/financial advice \n \n Access the full menu of benefits offerings here. \n What you will do \n \n Engage with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate knowledge of products to build sales and minimize returns \n Offer personalized recommendations and suggest complementary products to enhance the customer's shopping experience \n Support customers who are using devices to shop and compare \n Assist customers in trying on various watch models, adjusting straps or bands to achieve a comfortable fit \n Participate in ongoing product knowledge training through both technology and vendor partners \n Use point of sale technology and applications to assist in selling and fulfilling of customer orders \n Participate in pre-selling and sales-driving events, including trunk shows \n Perform all aspects of the fulfillment process, including picking, packing, labeling, shipping and Buy online, Pickup in Stores (BOPS) \n Ensure proper processing, presentation, organization, storing and replenishment of stock \n Adhere to asset protection programs and procedures to ensure audit compliance \n Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities \n \n Who you are \n \n Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays \n Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to share information with diverse groups of customers and colleagues \n Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities \n 1-2 years of related experience required \n \n Essential Physical Requirements \n \n Maintaining a stationary position, walking and reaching with hands and arms \n Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision \n Frequent use of computers, handheld electronic equipment and cash registers \n Requires close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus \n Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25lbs. \n \n About Us \n This is a great time to join Macy’s!
