Job Description:
Angott Search Group is partnering with a Michigan community bank
to identify an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to support
growth in the Grand Rapids and Lansing markets. This role will
focus on developing new commercial lending relationships, managing
an existing portfolio, and expanding the bank’s presence within the
local business community. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain
relationships with commercial clients in the Grand Rapids and
Lansing markets. Originate, structure, and manage Commercial &
Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans. Grow
and manage a commercial loan portfolio while identifying
opportunities for expansion. Partner with credit and leadership
teams to ensure sound underwriting and portfolio management.
Actively participate in business development and community
involvement to promote the bank’s services. Qualifications: 3–5
years of Commercial Lending experience. Experience with C&I
and/or CRE lending. Strong relationship management and business
development skills. Knowledge of the Grand Rapids or Lansing
business markets. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or
related field preferred.
