Work at Michigan Medicine and become a victor for the greater good.What Benefits can you Look Forward to?* Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage effective on your very first day* 2:1 Match on retirement savingsResponsibilities** Assists in residency-related and allied health programs and events duties under the direction of the Program Administrator and CME Coordinator.* May assist with tracking biweekly duty hours monitor with meal credit reimbursement* May assist with monitoring/logging of attendance for required conferences/lectures* Ongoing on-call handbook updates and distribution* Monthly Journal Club notification, archive and distribute* PCard Reconciliation* Order and distribute items for education group* May process calendar updates for CME and Residency programs* Prepare/process routine forms* Support basic program operations for recording of digital curriculum and grand rounds, including setting up video recordings, conferences and trainings.* Maintain electronic library of residency program curriculum lectures (Canvas and Mediasite)* Schedule and provide logistical support for meetings and webinars for lecture management; may include taking detailed minutes with action items, drafting, and disseminating other meeting materials.* Establish and maintain lists with contact information of both internal and external stakeholders, including program participants, to ensure quality communication.* Participate with education team in program events (some scheduled during evenings or on weekends), up to and including:* Resident recruitment* Annual course review recordings (when in-person)* Annual graduation* Annual resident/fellow welcome picnic

* Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications** Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Five or more years of administrative support experience in a busy office environment.* Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a team oriented, fast-paced work environment with a proven track record of meeting deadlines, anticipating the needs of the team, and delivering outcomes.* Ability to set priorities, handle multiple assignments and deadlines from several people, and display excellent judgment while operating in a flexible and professional manner; strong ability to multitask while remaining focused is essential.* Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook; Schedulon; Adobe; Concur, Canvas, Qualtrix.* Ability to create and maintain basic databases.* Experience with meeting management and event planning.* Excellent organizational skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; ability to problem solve operational issues in a logical manner.* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service ethic.* Ability to compose and produce professional correspondence, and to communicate effectively and professionally via phone and e-mail with faculty and staff within UMHS and key contacts and stakeholders outside of the Health System (state or national societies, vendors).* Ability to manage complex schedules and calendars, maximizing efficient use of time.* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maximum collaboration in a team environment.* A high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and the ability to anticipate needs.Desired Qualifications** Prior experience within the University of Michigan and familiarity with their systems, policies, and procedures.* Academic health system and graduate medical education experience.Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
