at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for
a faculty position (Assistant Professor) in human cognition, with a
focus on decision making (broadly construed) and computational
modeling. Preference will be given to individuals who combine
theoretical and empirical approaches (which may include behavioral
or combined behavioral and physiological measures) in their program
of research. This is a tenure-track academic year appointment. The
expected start date is August 29, 2022. Successful candidates must
have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline by the time the position
starts, and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching.
New faculty hired at the Assistant Professor level will be expected
to establish an independent research program.Please submit a cover
