Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services
within a school environment in Sterling Heights, MI. This role
involves working directly with students to support their
developmental, sensory, and motor needs, helping them achieve
greater independence and success in the classroom and daily
activities. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop
individualized treatment plans based on students needs. Implement
therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory
processing, and functional abilities. Collaborate with educators,
parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, goals, and
outcomes. Participate in team meetings and contribute to
multidisciplinary approaches for student support. Travel between
assigned schools to deliver services as needed. Desired
Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license
with school-based credentials preferred. Experience working with
school-age children in occupational therapy settings. Strong
understanding of educational environments and IEP processes.
Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritize tasks
effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for
working with children, families, and school staff. Flexibility to
travel within the assigned school district or area.
