Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This full-time position is for a Certified Elementary
Cognitively Impaired (CI) Teacher serving students in grades K2 at
an onsite K-12 school in Redford, MI. The contract runs from ASAP
through June 11, 2026, providing support in a Special Education
setting focused on Cognitive Impairment. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with cognitive
impairments Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs) Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies
accordingly Collaborate with teaching staff and support personnel
to meet student needs Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive
learning environment Qualifications: Valid Special Education
License with CI or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) endorsement
Certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or willingness to
obtain and renew certification annually Experience working with
young students (K2) in a special education setting Strong
communication and teamwork skills Location: Redford, MI (onsite)
