Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
psychologist is needed for a contract position supporting K-12
students in an urban district near Flint, MI. This role involves
working onsite closely with students, families, and school staff to
conduct evaluations and provide interventions for students with
mild to moderate disabilities. The assignment runs from March 16,
2026, to June 12, 2026, with a strong possibility of renewal for
the fall term. The position requires a commitment of approximately
35 hours per week and managing a caseload of about 60 students.
Responsibilities: - Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess
the needs of students with disabilities - Collaborate with
educators, families, and related service providers to develop
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) - Provide consultation and
support to staff regarding behavioral interventions and mental
health needs - Adhere to Michigan Administrative Rules for Special
Education (MARSE) and IDEA federal regulations - Support students
within an urban school environment, acknowledging and addressing
the unique challenges they face Qualifications and Experience: -
Valid Michigan license and School Psychologist certification -
Experience working with K-12 populations, particularly with mild to
moderate disabilities - Familiarity with the needs of urban
children and appropriate resources to support students and families
- Knowledge of MARSE and related IDEA special education regulations
- Ability to conduct evaluations and manage a typical caseload of
approximately 60 students Location: This onsite role is located in
the Flint community area and includes school districts in Grand
Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas. The district functions on a
Balanced School Year Calendar, which includes five intercession
breaks in addition to regular school breaks (work during
intercessions is not guaranteed). Benefits of this role include
