Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized
Occupational Therapist is needed for a maternity leave contract
position serving preschool students within a school setting. This
opportunity is based in Detroit, MI, and requires experience in
school-based occupational therapy. The contract runs from ASAP to
the end of the school year (EOSY) and offers a Monday through
Friday schedule from 7:50 am to 3:30 pm. Key Responsibilities: -
Provide occupational therapy services tailored to preschool
childrens developmental needs. - Implement individualized treatment
plans to support student participation and success. - Collaborate
with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster a supportive
learning environment. - Complete required documentation and
progress reports in a timely manner. - Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student
evaluations. Desired Qualifications: - Licensed Occupational
Therapist with experience in school-based settings. - Expertise in
early childhood development and preschool caseload management. -
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively
within an educational team. - Ability to adapt therapy techniques
to meet individual student needs. - Knowledge of special education
laws and compliance related to Occupational Therapy services in
schools. Location: Detroit, Michigan Schedule: Monday to Friday,
7:50 am 3:30 pm Term: Contract for maternity leave coverage, ASAP
