Job Description:

We are looking to add an experienced structural engineer who is ready to branch out from typical design type work and apply their knowledge to a new challenge in the area of Forensic Engineering.

This is primarily an "out of the office" position. You will travel to various sites to determine the cause of failures, mainly related to building systems. Driving to assignment(s) throughout the day is part of this job, and overnight stays are sometimes required. One or two days in the office per week can be expected. If you enjoy the hands-on approach to engineering and being in the field, this position is for you!
Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering licensure required
• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering
• Masters in Civil Engineering preferred
• Professional structural engineer experience
• 10 or more years of engineering design experience
• 5 years supervisory or project management experience
• Valid Driver's License in good standing, and demonstrated safe driving habits
• Must be able to pass a background check as required for the position This role includes regular work outside the office requiring the following physical activities:
  • Climbing ladders, walking on roofs, enter attics and crawlspaces
  • Kneeling, squatting, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Drive to assignments throughout the day
