HDR Engineering is currently looking for a Senior I&C Engineer to join our growing and national ranked team of Power professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior I&C Engineer you will design, direct, develop and manage power generation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DCS and PLC based control systems, logic diagrams, control valve sizing, instrumentation specification, instrumentation installation details, P&IDs, motor control schematics, specification writing, studies, scheduling, budgeting, lead projects, mentor junior staff, conduct QA/QC reviews, and cost estimating. In addition, the candidate will be expected to support managing client relationships and supporting marketing activities including proposal development in response to requests for proposals. A significant level of design-build work experience with power plant systems is desired. A knowledge of electrical systems is beneficial.

Other duties include:

• Providing project and task management
• Conducting complex process engineering for projects and proposals
• Collecting, assimilating and presenting data
• Leading the production of design calculations and technical reports
• Repairing engineering plans and specifications for design projects as well as work in a traditional Owner's Engineering role.
• Perform other duties as needed #LI-BS1
  
  Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years applicable experience
  • PE required
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • PLC/WTP and WWTP software programming
  • Experience designing I&C Systems, including schematics and loops
  • Experience managing I&C projects
  • Knowledge of Modicon, Wonderware and Interlution
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications:
    • Local candidates are preferred.
    • Power Generation project experience highly preferred.
