The global HR organization includes HR business partners, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee communications, and HR system operations.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Job Description/Responsibilities KLA is looking for high-energy interns for several exciting projects this coming summer in our Ann Arbor, Michigan location. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to learn about semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Specifically, this position provides an opportunity to perform hands-on work and contribute to the development of sub-components for KLA's inspection and metrology tools. The individual in this role will work self-motivated in a team with other interns and engineers on a specific aspect of a larger project. In this position, the candidate would work on designing, documenting, and procuring parts for stand-alone test fixtures and tools. They would be working in a team environment and collaborating with engineers and other interns from different disciplines, such as electrical engineering, optical engineering, and computer science. The candidate will design 3D CAD models of parts and assemblies. Engineering documentation as well as basic analytical modeling will be required. Furthermore, it is expected that the candidate will assemble and test the designs in a laboratory environment. Qualifications/Education Desired The successful candidate should have taken classes in mechanical design and manufacturing and have basic knowledge in CAD software. Experience with PTC Creo and Ansys is a plus. The candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. They must demonstrate perseverance and ability to work collaboratively with individuals across different functions and locations, as needed.
