Job Description Job Description Essential Functions: Reasonable

to perform the essential functions. Responsible for purchasing
critical parts, including manufactured parts and other critical
parts used in the assembly of equipment. Responsible for preparing,
tracking, and reviewing purchase orders through the purchasing
process. Knowledge and experience in inventory to manage and
control critical components. Understand and document business
requirements. Identify and screen potential suppliers on multiple
criteria (price, quality, service support, availability,
reliability, and selection) and risk analysis if applicable.
Identify and realize opportunities for cost reduction. Formalize
agreements according to company policy, monitoring supplier
compliance with contract terms. Follow up on orders to ensure that
materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates, being
mindful of product lead times in relation to manufacturing
schedules. Monitor commodity markets, supplier mergers and
acquisitions for positive/negative effects on the company's supply
chain and industry trends. Input all changes into the Purchasing
system, including price changes and engineering updates. Prepare
and file all purchasing-related documentation. Prepare and complete
reports as required. Stocking Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of
purchasing experience. A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain
Management is preferred. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong
knowledge of electrical components. Good math skills. Accounting
background helpful. Ability to multitask. Excellent organizational
skills and problem-solving techniques. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills are required. Effectively delegate duties to
appropriate individuals while still maintaining accountability.
Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Work
environment: This job operates in a professional office
environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment
such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax
machines. Working in close relationship with engineering,
shipping/receiving, assembly personnel, and suppliers. Physical
Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is
required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing
cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. Nidec Automatic Feed will
