About this jobThe purpose of the Manager is to provide in-bound call center services to support the sale of insurance policies to customers of our client and provide the team with management support (timecard approvals, PTO request, backup support). This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Direct.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Input and subsequently verify the accuracy of the quote generated from the insurance carrier's rating system
  • Answer of calls, the answering of questions, and the provision of other assistance as the customary and bind new insurance policies for Client's customers.
  • Adapt to various insurance carrier rating websites
  • Solve problems quickly and effectively and implement solutions to meet the needs of client
  • Forge relationships with prospects and insurance carriers
  • Inform, educate and make suggestions to client about policy coverages, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs
  • Deliver strong customer service by responding swiftly and managing inquiries, concerns and requests from incoming phone calls, emails, faxes and mail from account manager/client
  • Proactively research and have detailed knowledge of current market conditions
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of technology-based tools and solutions in support of personal lines business
  • Use analytical and critical thinking in work processes and communication skills
  • Maintain a paperless workflow
  • Assist the team with escalation calls and support
  • Review PTO request and approve. Coordinate backup support for PTO
  • Approve team timecards
  • Provide Leadership to ensure Client expectations are met.
  • Perform QA to ensure customer expectations are met
    Supporting Responsibilities
    • Make sure your New Business is in our Patra systems for tracking and kept current
    • Maintain knowledge of various states insurance guidelines
    • Understand customer challenges and partner to find solutions
    • Identify and communicate to team leads any areas where efficiencies can be improved as well as various other elements of the department such as increasing revenue

            Physical Requirements*
            • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks
            • Frequent sitting
