Position Overview:Full time opportunity for a sales professional to expand their sales experience. We provide high-end engineering consulting and software sales to OEMs and suppliers throughout North America. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic salesperson to cover Southeast Michigan, with opportunity to grow your territory. A base knowledge of CAD and/or Simulation is preferred, but not required. Hunting (prospecting, qualifying and closing) new opportunities will be among your primary responsibilities. farming existing customers and performing sales operations will be part of your secondary responsibilities.Career pathThe right candidate, if desired, can be trained to take a regional sales manager position within our North American territory. It offers the opportunity to understand and participate in the national software and consulting market for product development, mechanical engineering and PLM.Key Responsibilities

  • Close opportunities to generate new revenue
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of CATI's offerings, with a primary focus on Software and a secondary focus on Services
  • Present products and services at on-site and WebEx based sales calls
  • Prepare and present price quotations
  • Implement sales operations; business strategy execution
  • Perform Key Account Management
  • Maintain SalesForce database, implement lead nurturing procedure
  • Compose clear, precise, well organized emails, memos and letters
  • Participate in company's marketing efforts, including email campaigns, trade shows, SEO and commercial channel development
  • Perform sales and marketing analysis; Create and update reports
  • Assist clients via phone and email by directing them to appropriate resources
  • Qualify Inbound leads
  • Use social media/selling to gain leads
  • Other duties as assignedRequirementsWho you are:
    • A sales professional with minimum 2 years sales experience in a B2B environment
    • Minimum 1 year experience in an office setting; sales or marketing experience preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, communications or engineering, or 4 years' equivalent experience
    • High-level of energy, self-motivated and resourceful
    • Positive attitude and work ethic
    • Familiarity with SaaS, CAD/CAE platforms, or PLM software highly desired, but not requiredSkills
      • Effective Communication skills: verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal
      • Maximize 'Sales Value' and be able to articulate the value proposition
      • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
      • Strong knowledge of Internet-related technologies, new media, etc.
      • Results oriented, self-directed
      • Able to multi-task with strong attention to detail and handling priorities
