Jiffy Mix is the #1 selling dry baking mix nationwide, and the company is continuously improving systems and technology. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead special projects, implement new processes within software, and integrate systems using ERP and EDI software. You'll develop specs based on the needed solution, and consult with outside vendors to handle coding. You'll help lead the Information Systems team as well as work cross-functionally with department heads to build custom solutions to automate workflows. Initial emphasis is placed on ERP management, supporting a fair amount of custom code, and then looking at solutions to move toward a SAAS model. BENEFITS

    • Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs. Recommend and administer policies and procedures.
    • Work within the organization to identify the future software needs of the company, considering the external demands from customers, suppliers and consumers
    • Plan, coordinate, and review the work plan for assigned staff; assign work activities, projects, and programs; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems
    • Manage the detailed analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and related systems
    • Serve as project leader on software installations and/or upgrades involving staff from multiple departments; ensure projects comply with company standards and strategic direction
    • Practice interdependent communication and decision-making with all elements of the organization. Promote an understanding and support for IS technology within the company
    • Monitor, analyze and report on the progress of service delivery; take a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicit customer feedback to improve service; and respond to customer needs
    • Attend new product and technology training programs; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of information technology MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
      • 7 years of increasingly responsible information systems experience, including at least 2 years of administrative and supervisory responsibility
      • Knowledge of advanced principles and practices of database administration and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor ERP LX, or Infor Cloudsuite Food and Beverage preferred)
      • Knowledge of advance methods and techniques of application development, system design, and programming (Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft PowerApps, and Microsoft Power Automate preferred)
      • Strong project management skills
      • Broad experience in multiple programming languages (Java, Javascript, C+, RPG, SQL)
      • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences - technical and nontechnical, throughout the organization and including external partners such as vendors - to gather information, keep stakeholders informed, and coordinate collaborative work
      • Ability to analyze a situation and provide leadership and appropriate analysis to recommend a product/solution or assess a need
