Job Description:

Internet2 Identity & Access Management Operations Specialist Internet2 is seeking a creative, collaborative, hands-on practitioner of Identity and Access Management Systems and Services who will (with the support and collaboration of other Systems Administrators, Developers, Engineers and Architects), be responsible for the production requirements, deployment and maintenance of Internet2's IAM production architectures and infrastructure.
Job Roles and Responsibilities: Assess, design and implement identity and access management strategies, architectures and technology solutionsImplement and configure Identity and Access Management products produced by the Internet2 Community of Higher Education architects as well as those offered by commercial solution providers.Define technical and business requirements for identity and access management solutionsDefine business processes, policies, and standards related to controlling access to systems and applicationsApply experience to design and implement solutions in the areas of automated provisioning, identity governance, role management, federation, and single sign-onPlan identity and access management projects and develop work programs, timelines, and other planning documentsDemonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systemsDevelop thought leadership and base-to-executive level materials and presentationsDemonstrate and apply strong project management skillsMentor technology and business level team members on IAM concepts and solutionsAdvise senior level management on IAM-related risks and security posture Monitor and right-size/scale cloud infrastructure components to balance cost/performanceMonitor and alert for disruptions in IAM operational infrastructureUpdate and deploy infrastructure code for services hosted in AWS cloud
Qualified Candidate will have the following:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related major5+ years of Identity and Access Management experience10+ years of Information Technology experience, many with a focus on information securityTechnical architecture experience integrating identity and access management solutionsA strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to identity and access managementExperience implementing solutions dependent upon or related to the following areasSecurity Assertion Markup LanguageOpenID ConnectUser provisioning workflows and automationAttribute Based Access Control Identity Governance / Entitlement review and certificationSingle Sign-on and Multi-Factor AuthenticationMultilateral Identity Federation Integration TechniquesPrivileged Access ManagementNetwork Access ControlProven ability to work business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilitiesStrong identity and access management knowledge across a variety of vendor solutionsExperience with open-source technologies is preferred:Sound understanding of various security technologies Experience with at least one of the following development environments/languages: J2EE, Java, JavaScript, PHP, PERL, .NET, node.js, Python or C#Systems administration experience in a 24x7x365 production environmentDemonstrate ability and experience in working with vendors and service providersExcellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.
