Location: Remote Work anywhere in the US, must live in the US We are growing! Join an Agile technology team of 35+ talented product managers, developers, quality assurance engineers, project managers, UX designers, etc. who support a company of over 135 people with industry-leading web applications in areas of subscription-based continuing education, simulation and training, eCommerce, content management, and more. The Product Manager will lead a scrum team focused on our platform rebuild initiative. They will develop features and functionality based on feedback from key stakeholders and their in-depth knowledge of the customer. The position works closely with stakeholders, product strategy manager, product and project manager counterparts, development leads, SMEs and Agile team members to define product requirements and ensure the new platform provides optimal business and customer value.     • Acts as the Product Owner of an Agile development team, interacting with the Scrum Master, development team members, PMO, stakeholders and 3rd party integrators in a positive, productive manner.
    • Exudes and supports an Agile mindset with a constant desire and intention to improve.
    • Understands and adheres to the overarching Continued product vision, strategy, and 5 year rolling roadmap consistent with our overall strategic plan.
    • Meets with multi-functional subject matter experts (SMEs) for continuous learning of existing product lines.
    • Assumes day-to-day management and responsibility for assigned products and services including maintaining a product roadmap.
    • Prioritizes and makes definitive, informed decisions on all product features, maintenance work, and other backlog items for assigned product areas of ownership.
    • Participates in day-to-day tactical work including: gathering requirements, defining acceptance criteria while writing effective user stories, prioritization, backlog refinement with the team, attending Agile ceremonies and determining timelines for delivery.
    • Investigates and understands current system behavior through system interaction and data analysis (definition and consumption of reports, SQL queries, website usage analytics tools, etc.) and leverages that knowledge to influence key decisions related to the new platform.
    • Engages in ongoing user acceptance testing and customer service insights based on customer feedback and needs from our existing product lines.
    • Serves as the internal evangelist for all assigned product/service offerings. REQUIREMENTS
      • 3+ years of Product Manager or Product Owner experience, preferably at a SaaS company.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - enjoys collaborating, communicating, and working closely with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
      • Experience in the following areas is desirable: Payments (we use Stripe), Billing, Subscription-based business model, Education Technology.
      • Experience working in an Agile environment.
      • Experience writing clear and easily understood user stories and acceptance criteria
      • Strong technical acumen; comfort understanding and discussing technical concepts with developers.
      • Extremely motivated and energized by big challenges; willingness to work within and learn applications in a self-directed manner.
      • Strong analytical skills - able to provide innovative solutions to complex problems
      • Obsessed with simplicity and making data-driven product decisions.
      • Ability to work under pressure, align stakeholders on milestones and work in an Agile environment.
      • Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.
      • An organized and detailed thinker.
