The Senior Director / VP of Payor Relations directs contracting and relations with various payors, Including private insurance, manage care organizations and Government entities where applicable. This individual will be responsible for both leading and supporting payor negotiations with an emphasis on building strong, collaborative payor relationships that support Strata's reimbursement structures. You will develop tools and identify resources to increase coverage for Strata's NGS testing, which is reimbursed by Medicare, and is gradually being adopted by other payors, as well as to obtain coverages for new products.

Job Responsibilities
Develop strategy and execution plan for optimal coverage and reimbursement for Strata NGS and other testing carry out plan as approved by senior management.
Maintain/develop contacts and relationships throughout large insurance organizations and other payors. Existing relationships throughout the industry preferred.
Work collaboratively with our Operations and Finance teams to ensure alignment with internal financial goals.
Work with payor groups to determine their needs and shares business intelligence with senior management to develop growth strategies.
Be familiar with fast evolving coverages across all Payors.
Manage the contracting process including contract amendments, rate negotiation, rate approvals, language review, execution, and implementation of executed agreements.
Monitor relevant policy at a state and national level and assess opportunities and threats related to emerging and evolving issues.
Follow Company policies and procedures at all times.
Additional responsibilities as required.

BA or BS degree, MBA a plus
A minimum of 7+ years of experience with Payer/National Accounts and/or Corporate Accounts in oncology and/or laboratory testing
Experience in and understanding of oncology field, particularly molecular diagnostics, and bio-pharma therapy.

Skills, specialized knowledge and abilities:
Demonstrated track record of building strong working relationships across operational leaders and potential payor partners.
Understanding of health care reimbursement methods
Strategic thinker, able to translate strategy into effective planning and implementation.
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with, respect and listen to people at all levels within Strata.
High standard of fair and ethical conduct
Demonstrated ability to achieve meaningful results within a dynamic, fast-moving, high growth environment.
Ability to fit with and support Strata's culture, mission, vision, and values.
Ability to maintain appropriate level of confidentiality and sensitivity.
