Tax and Accounting Professionals is looking for a driven and collaborative Project Manager to join the Onvio Accelerator Village. In this Project Manager role, through an Agile approach, you will be responsible for the success of complex implementation and technical projects from start to finish, including managing the projects' planning, design, monitoring and closure.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Project Manager you will:

  • Define, scope, initiate and manage large complex and business critical areas of project work while supporting the Onvio Village.
  • Lead the definition, delivery and deployment phases of the Thomson Reuters Project Process, including liaison with the budget holder.
  • Initiate and managing multiple large projects in parallel, based in multiple locations and with multiple dependencies in & out, with no supervision.
  • Analyze capacity planning across projects. Uses influence to eliminate bottlenecks and potential resource alignment problems.
  • Deliver projects to support Thomson Reuters' ability to achieve revenue targets in the Tax and Accounting Professionals segment.
  • Manage programs within standard project management methodologies to time, quality and budget.
  • Work across different functions to achieve goals - managing through conflicting functional and personal priorities and varying working (cultural) practices to ensure overall team goals are achieved.

    About You

    You're a fit for the role of Project Manager if you have:
    • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills. This includes the ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships with various functional leaders in a matrixed organization, as well as at an executive level.
    • Experience operating within an Agile team and familiarity with project management tools and best practices.
    • Proven flexibility and ability to solve problems creatively.
    • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle that are completed according to outlined scope and timeline.
    • Familiarity with Thomson Reuters' suite of tax and accounting products, as well as familiarity with the accounting industry (practical and applied knowledge of accounting firms' needs from a process and software perspective) is a plus.
