Full Time 2022-01-10 Prophecy Product Manager At Godlan, we are proud to offer innovative products that meet the needs and wants of our industrial marketplace customers. To help us continue to grow and scale our Prophecy IoT platform, we are searching for an experienced product manager to lead our multi-disciplinary development team. As an ideal candidate, you will have a keen eye for gaps, value-adding product offerings, and an innovative mindset to fill them. You are a highly-skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a software platform - from conception through release. Be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams to successfully create products that exceed our customers' requirements and expectations and increase market share. Objectives of this Role Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company Analyze industrial customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build internal vs. contract in perspective Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they are successfully achieved Execute the role of Scrum Product Owner to specify software development backlog in the form of user stories and use cases Define, implement, and maintain timelines for the software development team Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans Obtains product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for Prophecy, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, release management, and product support/maintenance Translate product strategy into detailed requirements Prioritize product and customer requirements Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans Collaborate closely with development, engineering, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Prophecy and its features across primary market segments Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Minimum 5 years verifiable Product Manager experience in web-based technologies Expert in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) / Industry 4.0 Bachelor's degree in product design, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent Well versed in agile development framework, specifically scrum methodology Hands-on experience with Monday.com and GitLab Strong project management, time management, and organization skills Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in web-based software development technologies Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle Highly effective cross-functional team leadership Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills Preferred Qualifications MBA or master's degree in product design, computer science, software, engineering, or equivalent Demonstrable knowledge in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and digital marketing Experience growing and scaling an IIoT solution Job Category: TechnicalPI160606496
