We see a variety of different medical conditions and disease processes including Cardiac, Neuro, Respiratory, Infectious Disease, and Psych. The unit has the capability to monitor eight cardiac telemetry patients. Nurses care for patients with acute conditions and manage patient's chronic conditions. 9 North is a phenomenal learning unit that encourages personal and professional growth and development.Scope of workUnder the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader, the assistant nurse manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.Qualifications

• Effective June 1, 2025, Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
• Two plus years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required.
• Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, Charge nurse role) Preferred.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
