  POSITION DESCRIPTION (1) RN for 12 hour shifts (36 hours per week) for 13 week contracts. 3 day shift and 3 night shift. Inpatient perinatal experience required. Will consider RNs with L&D and/or antepartum experience. Experience with high risk ideal. Experience in a high-volume setting prefered. Ability to successfully pass a Fetal Monitoring Exam required (for those with L&D experience). Successful completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course prefered. Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation required. Recent travel experience required. 2 out of 4 weekends, maybe a holiday commitment.
  
  UNIT DESCRIPTION The Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital (VVWH) is a dynamic 50 bed hospital, home to obstetric services in Children's and Women's building. VVWH performs 4,500+ deliveries per year. While many of these deliveries are routine and uncomplicated, we are uniquely qualified to handle cases that are complicated by maternal or fetal high-risk conditions. VVWH is a Level III Perinatal Center-Which means we have specialists available around the clock to care for both maternal and neonatal emergencies and high risk patients- as well as caring for those with low riskpregnancies wishing for a "low intervention" labor and delivery process.
