to this position.SummaryThe Department of Psychiatry is seeking an
enthusiastic individual to fill a position as a Lead Clinical
Training and Implementation Specialist with the Michigan
Collaborative Care Implementation Support Team (MCCIST). The MCCIST
team supports the implementation of a specific model of integrated
behavioral health care, Collaborative Care, in primary care clinics
throughout Michigan. We are seeking candidates with clinical
degrees such as a Master in Social Work, Master in Clinical
Psychology, etc.Responsibilities*The Lead Clinical Training and
Implementation Specialist will provide both large group trainings
and individualized training and coaching surrounding Collaborative
Care basic and advanced skills.This individual will be responsible
for assessing the skills and training needs of the primary care
clinics' designated Behavioral Health Care Managers and developing
individualized training plans.Behavioral Health Care Managers are
often Master's prepared social workers or nurses with varying
levels of clinical skills and abilities. This team member will also
oversee curriculum development and trainings for behavioral health
care managers, primary care providers, and clinic staff.As part of
the MCCIST team, the candidate will also be responsible for
assisting in assessing and suggesting modifications to clinic
operations to support Collaborative Care implementation. This will
include assisting in site visits, completing clinic needs and
readiness assessments, and assisting in the analysis and
restructuring of clinical workflows. Responsibilities will also
include organizing and leading training activities, ongoing site
coordination, facilitating conference calls and meetings, data
collection, and report writing. Depending on Qualifications, this
position may be underfilled as a Training Specialist Senior or
IntermediateThis is a primarily remote position.However, occasional
travel within the region may be required.Required
Qualifications*Training Speciliast Lead - 8 years of professional
experience. Master of Social Work (MSW), Master in Clinical
Psychology, or other clinical degree required. Candidate must have
excellent oral and written communication skills. At least 4 years
of training experience must be reflected on resume. Candidate
should be organized and possess strong attention to detail. Must be
capable of both working on a team and functioning independently.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing workflows is
required. Proficiency in computer programs including word
processing, presentation development, and spreadsheets is
necessary.Experience in providing trainings to large group and in
one-on-one or small group mentoring/supervision. Training
Specilalist Senior- 5 - 8 years of professional experienceTraining
Specialist Intermeidiate- 2 - 5 years of professional
experienceDesired Qualifications*Experience working on a
multi-disciplinary team in an integrated health setting
preferred.Experience with curriculum and materials design desired.
Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation,
and/or Problem Solving Therapy preferred.Experience providing
clinical trainings and supervision strongly preferred.Work
SchedulePrimarily days; some weekends or evenings may be

selected candidate.Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts
