Job Description:

Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a Locum Endocrinologist to start as soon as possible!

Schedule:

--- Part-time beginning immediately through the end of August

--- May require some hours into September depending on need

--- Telehealth strongly preferred, but onsite also an option

--- No call responsibilities

Procedures:

--- Required Procedures: General endocrinology care only; no procedures outside typical endocrinology scope

--- Types of Cases: General endocrinology, diabetes management

Patients:

--- Average patient load: 2 patients/hour

--- Pediatric patients: No

Other Details:

--- Reason for Need: Gap in coverage between previous Endocrinologist and new full-time provider starting in August

--- Support Staff: Nurse and MA

--- Sole Provider: No, but will be the only Endocrinologist during this period

--- Open to locum-to-perm candidates as well as strictly locum

--- References Required: At least two, preferably including a recent locum assignment if applicable

--- Licensure: Must have active Ohio license (due to quick start timeline)

--- Location Preference: Candidates from Ohio or nearby driving distance are preferred
