Job Description Job Description: - Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health, in conjunction with the Facility is seeking full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to join the Pediatrics Department. - Rapidly growing pediatric department in a new pediatric residency program - Fellowship-trained in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology is preferred. - Focus on providing care for both pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient service - Candidates must have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching - Role includes resident and medical student education - Best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered - A leadership role will be considered for those with the requisite experience; all faculty are appointed through Central Michigan University College of Medicine. - Opportunity for EEG and sleep study interpretation is also available - Serving patients from a large geographic region of over 20 counties - Vast primary care referral network to support this position - Opportunity to teach, treat and lead positive change throughout the region - Time allocations for research and academic pursuits - Medium-sized city within a friendly community - Low cost of living, ample housing, easy commute to large cities and international airport - Vibrant local attractions and outdoor activities - Flexibility to fit candidates into the appropriate setting for the development of candidate and success of program
