CVOR Registered Nurse Job Details - Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109 - Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract (On-Site) - Start Date: November 17, 2025 - End Date: February 16, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2750 - $2820 - Hours per Week: 40 - Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (06:30–16:00 or 12:00–22:30), with options for rotating 2x8s & 2x12s or 5x8s; shift rotation required - Call Requirements: 2-4 weeknights and 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule; no call shift longer than 12 hours CVOR RN Qualifications - Active Michigan RN license required (compact licenses not accepted) - Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Registered Nurse experience - Previous travel nursing experience preferred - Scrub experience at level 3 or 4 (must be documented on skills checklist) - BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred - Trauma Level I or II experience preferred - Flu vaccination required (no exemptions) - Two manager or supervisor references required (Charge RN references not accepted) - Ability to complete onsite orientation modules CVOR Nurse Responsibilities - Provide expert perioperative care for adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients, including high-acuity and transplant cases - Assist with advanced CVOR procedures: CABG, heart transplant, ECMO, MAZE, LVAD/RVAD, aortic aneurysm repair, VATS, lobectomy, esophagectomy, lung transplant, AAA, EVAR, carotid endarterectomy, and more - Operate advanced surgical technology, including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System - Participate in a flexible call program with manageable shift lengths - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team in a positive work environment - Maintain infection control standards and ensure accurate specimen handling and labeling - Complete required onsite orientation modules Why Choose Ann Arbor for Your Next Nursing Job?
