Interventional Radiology Location: Novi, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,152 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiology Interventional Technologist Profession: Radiology Interventional Technologist Specialty: - Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Experience: Minimum of 2 years, including neurological case experience License: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Certifications: BLS, Advanced registry in Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience and neurological case experience Description: Under the direction of a Radiologist, specializes in the performance of invasive procedures to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. Explains examination procedures to patients and prepares patients for examinations. Obtains additional information about the patient's medical history as necessary. Prepares prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions for administration to patients. Reviews clinical data on requisitions, analyzes anatomical structures of patients, sets up equipment, and assists Radiologist in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures. Prepares and sets up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment required for procedures. Ensures adequate supplies, such as needles and catheters, are on hand and properly stored. Replenishes supplies as appropriate. Actively assesses patient conditions before, during, and following all procedures. Manually controls equipment to obtain the proper diagnostic information for the area of the body being studied. May assist with the training of new personnel and/or students assigned to the division. Performs all imaging procedures by demonstrating principles of radiation protection, including shielding of patients and selection of appropriate equipment settings to reduce dose. Resolves any image exceptions and ensures high-quality image delivery into the PACS system. Completes all study indexing in the Radiology Information System, including study begin, study end, and completion of study. Reviews and confirms, as necessary, clinical protocols before performing studies. Demonstrates Team Member Standards of Excellence, including open communication, responding in a timely manner, displaying a positive attitude, fostering innovation, and respecting diversity. Performs quality assurance procedures as appropriate. Documents in the medical record and within the radiology information system to support clinical and billing functions. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices.
