Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
experienced Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team within our
diverse healthcare network, encompassing inpatient rehabilitation,
home health, and hospice services. This pivotal role ensures the
highest standards of patient care, coordinates clinical operations,
and mentors nursing staff. The ideal candidate will not only uphold
but enhance our reputation for comprehensive, compassionate care
delivered in our facilities and patients' homes. Supervise and
schedule nursing staff across various departments. Ensure
compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Monitor
and improve patient care through clinical protocol management.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development
programs. Facilitate interdepartmental communication and
collaboration to optimize patient outcomes. Manage patient care
logistics, including admissions and discharge planning. Strong
leadership and team management abilities. Expert knowledge in
healthcare regulations and hospital management. Proficiency in
electronic health record (EHR) systems. Exceptional interpersonal
and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under
pressure in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
