Job Description:
Join the compassionate team at Encompass Health Corporation as a
Nurse Supervisor, where we provide comprehensive facility-based and
home-based care. Our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals,
home health agencies, and hospice agencies strive for excellence in
patient outcomes. This key position holds responsibility for
supervising nursing staff and overseeing patient care as well as
ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and
industry standards. The successful candidate will be dedicated to
improving the health and well-being of patients by providing
effective supervision and guidance to our healthcare teams. Oversee
the daily operations of nursing staff and patient care. Ensure all
healthcare regulations and safety standards are adhered to. Manage
patient care planning and implementation of health care policies.
Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff. Evaluate staff
performance and provide feedback and coaching. Participate in
recruitment and training of new nursing staff. Coordinate with
other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement
initiatives. Strong leadership and managerial skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in clinical
expertise and knowledge of healthcare regulations. Ability to
handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions.
Experience in staff training, coaching, and development. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current RN
license. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certifications.
