Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM -
7:15 AM (days vary; facility requires scheduling requests at time
of submission) Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Assess patients continuously and deliver skilled nursing care using
the nursing process to improve outcomes Administer medications and
treatments safely, monitor responses, and adjust care as needed
Lead and coordinate the PCU team, delegate tasks, and mentor
support staff to ensure excellent care Collaborate with the
interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise
individualized treatment plans Respond quickly to alarms and urgent
changes in condition to promote patient safety Assist with
transfers and mobility needs while prioritizing dignity and comfort
Provide patient and family education to empower recovery and
informed decision-making Maintain compliance with hospital policies
and applicable local, state, and federal regulations Qualifications
Active Michigan (MI) nursing license (LARA and/or Nursys) —
required 2 years of Neuro PCU experience — required Current BLS
(AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications — required PCU skills
checklist current within 1 year — required Recent travel work
history — highly preferred Two supervisory reference forms
completed within the last two years — required Comfort working
12-hour night shifts and following facility scheduling policies
Knowledge & Skills Patient assessment and critical thinking to
prioritize care Medication administration and titration with
attention to safety Delivering evidence-based treatments and
evaluating effectiveness Patient education and family communication
Transfers, mobility assistance, and fall-prevention techniques
Responding to alarms and advanced monitoring Delegation, oversight,
and team leadership in a PCU setting Interdisciplinary
