Job Description:
Job Description Certification Details - ASCP - NCA Job Details -
Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or
supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select
procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens,
involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments
and information systems. - May perform phlebotomy as needed. Job
Requirements - Ability to communicate effectively with others. -
Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge
sufficient to perform laboratory functions. - Completion of an
Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or
Laboratory Science. - Certification from a recognized national
certifying agency (ASCP or NCA). Schedule Information - Contract
length is 13 weeks.
