Job Summary The Housekeeping and Laundry Manager, under the supervision of the Director of Environmental Services, is responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping and laundry team members within the Environmental Services department, in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility. This position requires occasional travel to other Brio Living Services locations, conferences, and seminars. Skills and Knowledge Ability to troubleshoot and facilitate solutions for residents, staff, internal/external customers.
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
Openness and visibility to residents and staff.
Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in an Environmental Services department or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience. Desired Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Environmental Health preferred.
Proficient level expertise with Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
Working knowledge of time and attendance tracking systems and scheduling. Brio Living Services. is a federally funded program through CMS and the State of Michigan.
