CDL Garbage Truck Drivers - $17/HR LOCATION: Romulus, Michigan SUMMARY: A Residential Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial truck to provide prompt and courteous service to customers. Your main duties are collection of household residential curbside waste & recycling. Drive half the time and throw half the time, all while keeping in shape (usually changing duties every hour). JOB DUTIES: - Completion of assigned daily routes in a timely and safe manner - Performs pre- and post-trip inspections - Responsible for completion of assigned routes in a timely and safe manner - Responsible for running route and follow direction of Supervisor - Practice personal safety and safety of others - Must complete paperwork and submit daily - Provide support to operations as required REQUIREMENTS: - CDL A or B with air brake endorsement - Minimum 1 year of experience - Good physical condition (able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks - Steel-toed Safety Boots required - Must pass company provided drug screening and physical abilities testing Weekly Pay!
