Job Description:
The HR Manager & Client Advisor is responsible for providing
knowledge and guidance to Agency's HR benefits customers. -The
compliance support and guidance to customers and internal Benefits
team is integral to the success and retention of each customer. -
-The HR Manager & Client Advisor will interact with clients on a
routine basis for a variety of important HR compliance components
for employee benefit administration and routine HR functions (FMLA,
HIPPA special qualifying life events, Form I-9 and Michigan New
Hire compliance, National Medical Support Notices, etc.).
The HR Advisor must be knowledgeable employer benefits compliance
reporting and disclosure requirements in connection with group
health plans. -DOL/ERISA/IRS related compliance, including
Affordable Care Act, CMS Medicare Part D compliance, PCORI, MLR,
and employer compliance under law.
The HR Manager & Client Advisor may also be responsible for Zywave
administration (champion), becoming knowledgeable with all Zywave
tools and resources including client database management (AMS),
Client Portal and associated HR apps under this module, including
ACA Reporting, Employee Handbook Builder, Learning Management
System (LMS), HR Hotline, HRconnection portals (employee-facing
benefits portals utilized by benefit customers), and customer email
distributions regarding important HR compliance and resources.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- - - - - - -Advises employer/customer on health plan compliance
and administration related to human resource activities.
- - - - - - -Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and
recommending solutions to human resource issues relating to the
assigned program or section area.
- - - - - - -Ensures program or section area follows established
policies and procedures and with any HR relevant federal, state or
local legislation.
- - - - - - -Prepares and maintains special internal and external
reports as requested by the immediate manager.
- - - - - - -Answers nonroutine HR compliance requests for
information on HR policy interpretation.
- - - - - - -Develops methods and procedures for compiling and
analyzing data for reports and special projects.
- - - - - - -Assist customers on how to conduct periodic audits of
human resource compliance activities to ensure compliance with
laws, policies and procedures.
- - - - - - -Works on special projects.
- - - - - - -Presents training sessions related to the assigned
program or section area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- - - - - - -Required: -Bachelor's degree in business
administration or related field.
- - - - - - -Required: -Five years of professional-level experience
in human resources.
- - - - - - -Minimum 5+ years' experience with increasing
responsibilities within 50+ employee group(s), 7+ years' experience
preferred
- - - - - - -Must maintain a current SHRM Certified Professional
(SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
credential or be able to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
Travel:
- - - - - - -Some travel may be required.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role
routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones,
photocopiers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to
sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and
arms while seated at workstation. Lifting, standing and walking are
negligible. -Optional standing workstations are available.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday
through Friday, hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
