Job Description:
*Job Summary: *Responsible for assisting and advising leaders
with achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and processing
potential internal and external job candidates for hire throughout
the onboarding process. Also responsible for employee relations and
coordinating employee programs within assigned groups.*Essential
Functions: ** Develops and implements strategic initiatives for
recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.* Partners
with supervising leaders to forecast and develop plans for key
staffing initiatives.* Manages full cycle recruiting process to
meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple
business units. Creates and implements strategies to attract
passive job seekers.* Collaborates with supervising leaders in the
recruiting and selection process to ensure adequate staffing
throughout the organization.* Works with supervising leaders and
interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are
clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate
criteria.* Develops strong relationships and partners with
supervising leaders, business leaders and Human Resources. Works
closely with leaders to maximize effectiveness of recruiting
process.* Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local
legislation including FMLA, ADA, ADEA, OSHA, COBRA, HIPAA and other
employment regulations.* Handles all employee relations issues in
an expedient and thorough manner.* Ensures accuracy and
confidentiality of all employee records.* Stays current with
legislative and regulatory changes that affect human resources.*
Supports implementation and on-going execution of new employee
general orientation in a collaborative fashion..* Assists directors
and managers with effective Human Resources practices, maintains
positive employee relations, provides counsel and advice to
employees, and evaluates and recommends appropriate actions to
resolve issues.* Designs and places employment advertising and
recruiting materials.* Reviews resumes and applications, screens
and interviews internal and external applicants, conducts testing,
and performs reference and background checks as needed.* Recommends
candidates for hire and extends job offers.* Assists in developing
and establishing effective retention strategies including staff
enrichment programs, training and development opportunities,
incentive programs, interdisciplinary teams to enhance retention
efforts, and related programs.* Administers, organizes, and
facilitates training and educational programs in connection with
employee orientation.* Adjusts to changes in workload and schedules
based on changing team priorities.*Minimum Qualifications: **
Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Human Resources preferred.*
A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of progressively more
responsible work experience in a business office environment
required. Recruiting experience preferred. Human resources (or
related field) and/or experience in a heath care organization with
responsibility for multiple sites/locations highly preferred.*
PHR/SPHR certification or similar professional certification
preferred.* Must be computer literate, with demonstrated
proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, HRIS and related
reporting systems. Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems
preferred.* Ability to initiate and implement necessary plans and
programs.* Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving
abilities required as related to various aspects of human
resources.* Knowledge of legislation impacting Work Life Services
in the workplace including FMLA, ADA, ADEA, OSHA, worker's
compensation, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, etc.* Must
possess emotional intelligence and the ability to promote positive,
constructive relationships with communication and collaboration at
all levels.* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to
comfortably interact at all social levels and with colleagues from
many different backgrounds, ethnic origins and skill levels
required.* Must possess sound judgment; effective organizational,
prioritization and follow-through skills; attention to detail;
accuracy; dependability; tact; and ability to maintain confidential
information.* Demonstrated ability to produce results while still
