MOVING QUICKLYINTERVIEW TO OFFER / 24 HOURSResponsibilities:

• Treats patients according to the assessment results and treatment plan established by the physical therapist.
• Monitors patient performance and response to treatment and modifies program as indicated.
• Documents all necessary information in the patient's medical record.
• Educates/trains patients and families regarding disease/injury, treatment plan, self-help measures, preventive care, and treatment techniques.
• Educates other departments and the public in the form of in-services, lectures or classes.
• Participates in Quality Assurance activities as assigned.
• Notifies physical therapist of patient's response to treatment.
• Provides athletic training services (taping, first aid, exercise, consultation and physician referral) to area schools and in outpatient clinics.
• Assists with marketing of sports medicine services to area school administrators, coaches, and physicians.Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited bachelor's level or higher.
  • Athletic Training program. Certified in the state of Michigan.Experience:
    • Successful completion of all field work placements.
    • Demonstrated competency in physical therapy principles/techniques.
    • Field experience in athletic training.
