Summary:Capable of managing daily backups, restores, archives and
system images, prepare tapes for offsite pickups and monitor the
backup infrastructure using Veritas NetBackup SoftwareMaintain and
manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS and user securityProvide
end user support and assist with help desk requestsAssist other
Network Administrators and Network Engineers in network and system
projectsDeliver efficiencies by defining, delivering, and
supporting strategic plans for implementing information
technologiesStrong TCP/IP knowledge and OSI modelManage virtual
server infrastructure using VMware vSphere technologyManage virtual
desktop infrastructure (VDI) environment using VMware Horizon
ViewManage Veeam Backups, Replication and Snapshot
technologyTroubleshoot, analyze and investigate LAN/WAN and VPN
related issuesManage Microsoft Exchange Server and Email accounts
for Sheridan UsersTroubleshoot mail-flow and email connectivity
issuesManage threat protection services (Anti-Spam Filters, Virus
Protection, etc.)Administer NetApp Storage Systems, monitoring
storage capacity and storage provisioningAdminister daily
operations of Windows and-- - Linux ServersPerform daily monitoring
of critical server and infrastructure equipmentDevelop network and
system support documentationDaily administration of Microsoft
SharePoint Server and supported collaboration toolsAssist Network
Engineering in problem-solving and supporting Cisco routers and
network switch configuration issuesMaintain, Install and support
IIS, FTP, SQL, Apache and other third-party software
productsMaintain and support in-house development
applicationsMaintain and support Core Business applications (ERP,
CRM and Production Systems)Manage Cisco Web Security (CWS), Web
Proxy Policies and Web traffic ReportingSupport inter-company data
communications and site-to-site VPN tunnelsAssist Network
Engineering in supporting Internet connectivity and multiple ISP
Providers using load-balancers and WAN Controller technologyAssist
Network Engineering in supporting Cloud technology such as Amazon
Web Services (AWS)Assist with organizational compliance efforts
(PCI, SOX, HIPAA, etc.) and ability to audit systemsBasic
Qualifications:BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or
Information Systems or equivalent technical training3-4 years'
experience working with network operations and systems-- -
administrationEquivalent experience and technical trainings may be
substituted for the education requirementsTechnical certifications
such as MCSE,-- - CCNA, Linux+, A+ and Network+ are a plusStrong
knowledge and experience with PC hardware and software
technologyWorking knowledge of Linux and MS Windows 2003 and
higherExperience in-- - administering, installing and managing
servers and clientsKnowledge of backing up systems and customer
dataPractical knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery and Business
Continuity PlanningStrong verbal and written communication
skillsStrong Organization skillsPerformance monitoring, system
tuning, and capacity planning experience is neededMust be flexible
with schedule and able to work on multiple assignments
simultaneouslyDesired Skills:Virtual Server and VMware
