ScionHealth is currently seeking a BI developer to join our data warehouse team in Louisville, Kentucky!

Summary:

As a Programmer Analyst Consultant (BI developer) you will be responsible for collecting, documenting, analyzing, verifying, and managing requirements for medium to high level projects.This individual will also be responsible for developing visual analytics and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud, Business Objects, etc. to meet business reporting needs.

Essential Functions:

Turn abstract information into appealing, revealing, and understandable visualizations that clearly explain the results of the analysis.

Applies the right Visual Analytics and Reporting capabilities to the right business problem.

Solves problems quickly, manages expectations, and communicates clearly.

Demonstrates a basic level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes.

Documents and updates requirements.

Strong organizational skills: ability to adapt and reprioritize workload as business priorities shift.

Identifies and carries out solutions based on approved business and functional requirements.

Demonstrates a basic level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (i.e., Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process).

Participates in technical requirements and design sessions.

Appropriately manages confidential and sensitive data.

Regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

Position serves both Corporate and hospital-based employees and contractors.

H as access to and / or works with sensitive and / or confidential information.

Healthcare experience preferred.

Experience with SAP BW a plus.

Familiarity with Agile approaches to development a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Basic knowledge and experience with computer systems, applications, development, and testing methodologies as they relate to business intelligence.

Experienced with writing, executing, and reviewing test cases.

Able to work with minimal direction and guidance from project lead, senior, consultant staff and manager.

Experience with SQL data models and SQL databases.

Experience with Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence.

Knowledge of data modeling to support OLAP processing.

Compilation and validation of large amounts of data for the use of internal reporting.

Financial analysis, budgeting, and general ledger knowledge.

Strong logic and reasoning skills to analyze and interpret data.

Ability to analyze large datasets.

Ability to write comprehensive reports.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.

Attention to detail.

Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science related field.

Experience:

10+ years working in a data warehouse environment.
