Job Description Job Description Forklift Operator – Sofo Foods - 1st Shift - Toledo, OH Join the team behind one of the region’s leading food distributors. As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in putting away product and replenishing product slots. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll help ensure that businesses, restaurants, and communities receive the products they rely on every day. What You’ll Do Put all received products in the corresponding location using a sit-down or stand-up forklift. Replenish the product into each pick slot. Ensure that the product is put away correctly and in proper FIFO rotation. Move and break down pallets in dry, refrigerated, or freezer zones Load trucks in route order for efficient delivery Follow safety check procedures and maintain a clean workspace What We’re Looking For Must be 18 years old Able to lift 35–60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift Ability to speak, read, and write English Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively. Detail-oriented and accurate when reading, labeling, and handling inventory Dependable and safety-minded with a strong work ethic Excellent attendance and punctuality Schedule Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Overtime is required based on business needs. Expect 40-45 hours per week Pay & Benefits Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 up to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
