Learn more about the many benefits of PET bottles here. *with existing technologies including chemical recyclingPosition OverviewThis position is responsible for human resources administration activities in support of the North America HR Shared Services team and Specialty Containers business and various North America shared service functions for Amcor Rigid Packaging. This position will also provide support to Specialty Containers Vice President and General Manager. Essential Functions- Provide general and HR administrative support (e.g., business travel, meeting logistics, monthly reporting, projects) - Coordinate payroll changes with corporate HR (e.g., new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations)- As appropriate, will handle a wide variety of employee and manager inquiries; replies professionally and timely with HR fundamentals or directs the inquiry to the right person.- Assist in the talent acquisition process which includes preparing job requisitions, update job descriptions, coordinate interview process, prepare announcement- Assist with facilitation of new employee orientations, including coordinating the on-boarding process with other departments.- Support the SC/Shared Services team on key processes including salary and incentive planning, Talent Reviews and Performance Management.- Manage reimbursement programs (tuition, relocation), collects approvals and updates the recordkeeping.- Coordinate communications of employee status changes (hired, job change, separation) with other departments, including IT, Payroll, and facilities (pc, cell phone, system access).- Support in the Employee Engagement process.- Process of purchase orders.- As appropriate, participate in the Safety/Activities Committees for the Manchester/Ann Arbor locations.- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive Company, employee, and candidate information.- Manage the vacation database.- Prepare necessary reports as required.- Additional duties and projects as assigned. Skills Required/Preferred* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-through skills* Strong customer service orientation* Ability to maintain confidential, sensitive information* Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic organization* High energy level; ability to multitask and take initiative* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)* Experience administering Human Resources Systems--(UltiPro preferred)Education & Experience Required* Associate's degree in business or related field or the equivalent experience in a related field.* 5-7 years of administrative experience required* Prior experience in a human resources department or performing HR related work is highly preferred* Working in a corporate setting with executives preferredAmcor is a thriving S&P 500 organisation listed both on the NYSE (AMCR) and ASX (AMC) with US$13 billion in sales.
