Job Description:
Specialty mortgage branch of a stock traded bank seeking an
experienced loan processor. Candidate should have experience with
Encompass, Microsoft products and be familiar with FHA, VA, USDA
and other conventional loan programs. Compensation includes hourly
pay ($15-$22/ hour entry salary depending upon experience) and up
to $250 per file closing bonus, plus benefits (medical and 401K).
We have a pretty laid back work environment which is result based.
You are able to work independently with flexible
hours.Responsibilities* Review initial loan approval and work with
borrower to gather appropriate documentation* Collect all required
documentation for the loan package* Create a loan submission
package for the Underwriting department* Submit files to assigned
Underwriter* Satisfy all conditions when received from Underwriter*
Ensure that approval falls within the established lending
guidelines* Communicate with other professionals, including
attorneys, county clerks and title companies* Send out and review
initial disclosuresQualifications* Exceptional communication and
customer service skills* 2+ years' experience in the consumer loan
industry (preferred but not mandatory)* Current registration under
the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (preferred but
not mandatory)* Strong attention to detail* Familiarity with
computers and banking applications/software* Ability to work in a
goal oriented environment* Demonstrable customer satisfaction
orientation and sales competencies record* Deep knowledge of
direct/indirect lending products and practices* Excellent
analytical and mathematical skills* Reliable and an out of the box
thinker* Works well under pressure and deadlinesJob Type:
