Work closely with and report to Vice President of Strategic Operations to improve the Organizational knowledge of Surety. Outcomes

• Revenue growth will be derived from: executing effective strategies on new business targets, participating in Client Engagement Strategy sessions focused on client retention and expansion, and education of Client Executives within each office.
• Work with the Hylant Surety Desk to ensure that all client needs are being met and negotiate terms & conditions as needed
• Enhance the knowledge of all offices through dedicated education sessions
• Advance the Hylant brand to prospects/clients and build organizational confidence and sales effectiveness through successful and innovative Surety Program structure and management
• Support the organizations Client Engagement Strategy through attendance and innovation
• Provide Educational content for internal and/external distribution (Minimum 2 per year)
• Drive and deliver excellence in RFP responses both written and oral
• Maintain relationships with carriers, centers of influence and vendors important to our success and marketplace differentials that align with our mission, core values, and support of our processes
• Five years of experience in surety, insurance carrier underwriting or insurance brokerage space.
• Excels in an entrepreneurial and collaborative team environment
• Assess financial statements to effectively represent clients and prospects surety needs
• A solid technical surety and risk management background
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present Hylant's value effectively to c-suite level, and risk management and insurance buyers
