This includes various city and county records.Maintain license agreement exhibits for small cell infrastructure.Track status of road cuts and completion of final patching and other right-of-way restoration issues.Track and coordinate reinspection of final road patches prior to expiration of warranty.Review and approve materials testing information for road patches submitted by contractors.Assist with project project close-out, including review of site plan, punch list, and construction files for compliance.Investigate and follow up on miscellaneous complaints.Coordinate responses to A2FixIt complaints related to right-of-way issues.Support private development staff and right-of-way inspection staff.Assist private development staff with planning petition reviews, including annexations, zoning, special exception uses, land divisions, and land transfers.Set up and maintain Field Manager (or current software for contract management) files for projects.Compile, route and track the status of contracts, easements, license agreements, and professional service agreements.Gather information and perform updates to the Transportation Plan (TIP), the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), and other city plans and studies as needed.Research infrastructure information for customers and produce digital and or hard copies.Assist in the review and processing of paperwork for Federal Aid projects.Compute construction plan quantity take-offs for projects.Perform other related duties as assigned.Related WorkProcessing and archiving documents related to work activities.Planning and coordinating meetings with staff and outside parties.Knowledge of: (position requirements at entry)Basic mathematicsProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookCreate, edit, and issue letters and memorandumsProficiency in specialized software essential to work duties, such as TRAKit, On Base, ArcGIS, Field Manager, ArcGIS or their replacement equivalents, with 6 months of date of hire.Standard office proceduresSkills and Ability to: (position requirements at entry)Communicate tactfully and positively with the public and employeesSolve problemsUse and understand office information technologyCoordinate and prioritize multiple duties and assignmentsEstablish and maintain good working relationships with employees, contractors and the publicDemonstrate excellent organization and planning methods and techniquesMake logical decisions, exercising appropriate judgmentEducation, Training and Experience (position requirements at entry)Required:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Administration, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, or a related fieldOROffice or Construction Administration experience totaling a minimum of 6 years.Licensing/Training Requirements - Required within 18 months of hire date Field Manager TrainingMDOT Certified Payroll TrainingPhysical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
