The Telemonitoring RN provides professional nursing care and
service to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric
patient care. This RN typically provides service via telephone in
the form of coordinating services and providing nursing
information/resources. The RN operates under the supervision of the
Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with all members of the
health care team. The Telemonitoring RN has at least 2 years of
cardiac patient care experience and may be called upon to
indirectly assess the patient symptoms and communicate with the
patient physician and/or cardiologist.
Minimum Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related science
Current Michigan Registered Nurse license
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication
Ability to problem-solve.
Effective and customer service focused telephone etiquette
Computer proficiency including Microsoft office and clinical
Must have very good telephone etiquette.
Home health experience
Cardiac experience strongly preferred
