Job Description:

KBR is seeking an RF Radar Systems Engineer to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The candidate will support funded radar system programs.Job Duties:Architect radio frequency systems and circuits for high frequency and microwave radar applicationsDesign and Develop RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission lines, waveform generation and digitizersDevelop and allocate RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirementsModel RF system performance using MATLAB and Excel, and other performance analysis toolsPrepare test methods and specifications to analyze and test RF hardware and firmware/softwareWork with a flexible schedule and be willing to travel occasionally to complete program objectivesRequiredQualifications:MS or PhD degree in electrical engineering or physics with at least 5 years of experience in wideband RF design, preferably related to radar systemsProgramming experience in MATLAB. Familiarity with Ansoft HFSS or similar analysis tools is a plusAbility to work independently and in a team environmentWorking knowledge of RF test methods and equipmentExperience with basic hardware fabrication techniquesStrong oral and written communication skillsSecurityRequirements:Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a TS security clearance.SDL2017
