Your Role and Responsibilities Summary The Talent Partner serves critical business segments (for example business units, geographies), working with either a dedicated or variable client base as needed. These professionals use an understanding of IBM's strategy and their client's strategic priorities, using business acumen and analytical expertise to identify issues and trends through people analytics to support HR and business decisions. In this role the Talent Partner aligns with the IBM Global Business Services HR and business teams to help define and drive the strategy in Talent areas including attrition, diversity, performance management, careers and skills. Responsibilities: * Lead workforce demand planning to include: sensing/responding to labor market trends and forecasts, ensuring an accurate current/future talent plan, coordinating skill capacity/capability, and working in coordination with talent teams on diversity, performance management, career progression and learning roadmaps, etc * Lead the Americas talent strategy in Latin America driving the execution of talent programs across the region based on talent metrics: including promotions, performance management, fall plan activities, etc * Conduct fact-based decision making to develop and execute recommendations and or investment plans that drive identified business talent priorities * Define a management system with meaningful data, proactive planning, and actionable insights to own and drive the talent results * Develop pro-active talent solutions using agile and design thinking to address complex business challenges * Drive automation in data and reporting to create more process efficiencies that enable a self-service culture Required Technical and Professional Expertise * HR knowledge: at least 6 years of HR experience in an HR partner/specialist role, operations/planning role, or technical skills role supporting HR or business unit clients utilizing analytics to do skill supply/demand/capacity planning * Data analysis: use data to advise and inform HR strategy and influence key talent decisions * Problem solving: analyze situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts and risks. Develop and implement solutions. * Project and time management: a strong ability to work independently and to proactively manage and prioritize projects * Communication: excellent written and oral communication skills, including adapting messages to the needs of clients, colleagues, and executives * Teamwork: lead and participate in teams driving talent initiatives to achieve unit goals * Business knowledge: experience with consulting or services organization Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise At least 2 years of experience working with GBS skills, workforce planning or talent data None
